Construction Chatter

Attached are some before and during renovation pictures of the Nursery and Toddlers space.

The wall between the Nursery and Toddlers will be demolished with a glass walk through installed to eliminate the "closet" effect in the Nursery and give a more open feel.  The bathrooms will be enclosed in the Toddlers space encompassing the hallway as part of the toddlers space and allowing access to the bathrooms without leaving the room.  The back wall of the toddlers space will be demolished and the staircase behind it that goes to the maintenance storage space in the basement will be closed off, opening the toddlers space more.

The staircase behind the toddlers space gives access to the maintenance storage area in the basement.  There is also a door access to this staircase as you enter the Child Development Center from the rear of the church.  This will be closed off as part of the renovation.

I bet most of you did not know there was a staircase behind the Toddlers that led to a maintenance room behind the stained glass windows in the Chapel.  There is access to this room downstairs near the chapel, so loss of this staircase will not restrict access to this room.
